Terms & Conditions

 

At Wine Appreciation with Amandine, I seek to be as customer focused as possible. However, due to operating costs and logistical requirements the following Terms & Conditions apply unless otherwise agreed. All persons making bookings or reservations, and participants of any type of course operated by Wine Appreciation with Amandine, acknowledge that they have fully read and understood these Terms and Conditions prior to making a booking.


Payment

Full course fee is payable at time of enrolment, via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) into my nominated bank account.


Product / Course Policy

Once your payment has been received you will advise me of your proposed event date (Event Date). Subject to my availability and travel requirements I will confirm the Event Date as soon as possible by email to you. For Perth bookings I normally require at least 7 days notice and 14 days for Margaret River bookings.


Place of the Course

The course will be held at your nominated address (either private premise or business address). You must confirm the address by email prior to booking for security reasons. Generally, I will only conduct courses in my designated ‘trading area’ (refer to the Locations Map on the Contact Page). Where you are not the registered owner I will require consent to conduct the course on the premises and where the premises are licensed we must comply with their requirements including consent to large groups if necessary.


Booking changes & Refunds

By me - 
If due to unforeseen circumstances I can’t conduct the course on the Event Date or at the agreed place, I will notify you at least 7 days in advance and request that you nominate another suitable date or place. If I cannot conduct the course within 7 days of that request, I will refund the total cost of your purchase within the same time period. You will be notified by email and telephone if any changes occur. 

By you - 
If due to unforeseen circumstances  you can’t attend the course on the Event Date or at the agreed place , you can nominate an alternative time or place. The request to change the date must be done by email and phone at least 7 days prior to the Event Date. If no suitable alternative time or place can be arranged within 7 days of that request I will pay a full refund within the same time period. Where less notice is given I will determine refunds (whole, part, or none) in my absolute discretion.  Changes to the number of people in group bookings must also be notified as above.


Personal Contract

The course booking cannot be transferred to third parties. This course is designed and personalised for the person/s who book the course.


Gift Voucher Recipients

Gift vouchers expire 12 months from purchase and can be used for the type of course or class specified on the voucher. It cannot be redeemed for cash.


Code of Conduct

The course must be conducted in a professional manner and in accordance with applicable laws. In particular:

  1. Drunken, disruptive and violent behaviour will not be tolerated at any time and will result in immediate termination of the course;

  2. I accept no responsibility for any damage or theft inflicted by you or any member of your group while taking part in the course including lost or stolen property;

  3. You attend the event at your own risk and to the extent permitted by law I disclaim all liability for personal injury to you or your group; and

  4. All participants of my course must be at least 18 years old.
